Prayer - Prayer written by Bishop Hope Morgan Ward, NCCUMC
Loving God, the source of strength and restoration and healing, we pray together for all who suffer in our communities today. In the wake of wind and waves, destruction and flooding, make your presence known through our generosity to our neighbors, near and far. Give us the vision and patience to live and labor faithfully through this season of response and recovery. As we clean up and rebuild, give us your joy and peace. Give us above all the love for one another that is your best gift always. In the name of the Triune God, we pray. Amen.

Neighbors
Whose life will you touch today? There are many ways you may reach out to one another, and many folks just need to be remembered in the wake of such a storm.
Clothing Needs
We continually collect clothing items for Beacon Rescue Mission. Many folks in our community are in need of clothing as a result of losing personal things during the recent storms. Leave your gifts of gently used clothing in the assigned clothing drawer at the Welcome Center.

Health Kits
Nearly 200 health kits were assembled and delivered to MERCI Center the first week in October. Well done, Church! However, the effort is far from over and needs continue to rise. You may continue to make financial contributions by writing your church to DSUMC. Be sure to write "Health Kits" on the memo line.

These are just a few of the ways we are working to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the world. If you have ideas or wish to be helpful in these or other ways, please contact us using one of the forms below:
